A little bit of a coffee taste

If it had caffeine it would probably replace my morning coffee.

Great coffee flavor! Wicked pricey, worth trying once.

Pours inky black. Thin mocha head. Huge earthy coffee nose w/ hints of chocolate. Beautiful balance of rich coffee & deep roasted malt on palate. Secondary notes of lush cocoa, subtle oak & boozey whiskey wisps deliver a lovely counterbalance. Unbelievably silky smooth. Expertly crafted to the point of being unbelievably & deceptively approachable for an 11.5% Imperial Stout. One hell of a sexy beer!

Delicious stout with strong chocolate and coffee flavors.

VERY coffee-y, almost overwhelming

Beautifully balanced - definite coffee stout taste with underlying hints of cocoa and sour cherry juice. No one thing was overpowering; great moderate mouthfeel, not too thick or thin; lingering cherry and coffee aftertaste. Quite boozy, but that just adds to the charm, doesn't it?

Not for the faint of heart or those who don't like whiskey. This is a good beer that is best shared.
