So glad this is available in Boise this year! It has a bit of sediment, but if stored properly it is clear and very tasty. Have tried it cold and warmed for about a half hour and both pours were excellent. I am in heaven!

Delicious cold, but really hoppy when it warms up.

Enjoyable. Definitely has a slight malt at the end. Their description as a pale ale with earthy character is correct. Almost a bit like a golden ale In appearance and taste.

Tasty and warms the tummy.

This.... is a pale ale. Like, a regular run-of-the-mill pale ale. Earthy/spicy hop flavor with citrus/pine top notes, good body, nice malt backbone.... but still. Not at all what I was expecting for a winter beer. It?s not a BAD beer, by any means. But it?s not anything special either

B. I had the 2017 barrel aged version. No spiced, more caramel and toffee 9.7%. Creamy mouthfeel, subdued alcohol.

Smooth and light for a winter ale. Not much spice or bitterness from the 8.3%. Flavor got better by the third one. May have been the taps. Had on tap at Del Fuego.

Really a very very pleasant winter warmer. I'd love to have a clone recipe for this...

Enjoyed this beer while getting ready for the Christmas season!! First couple sips overpowering but towards the end the beer is full and friendly!!
