nelso334@msu.edu - August 21, 2012Dark red/purple in color with a nice white head. Smells of tart cherries dominating. Taste is sweet and tart fruit flavored dominated by cherry, blackberry, and a hint of strawberry. Malts come in with a bready flavor almost like a pie crust. Tartness builds with the drink and I wouldn't have more then one because of this. But the one I had was enjoyable. I actually mixed the second half of my beer with half a founders fest wheat, and that combo was a 5 star beer for sure.
