OK; maybe not fresh? From World Market.

Mike has had this at several places and likes it a lot. Similar to Newcastle, but a little creamier.

12/10/15 - 500 ml into a pint glass. Pours a semi-clear Amber color. Small quickly dissipating head and medium carbonation. Aroma is caramel, sweetness, molasses and a slight skunkiness. Taste is sweet malt, smokey, earthy, caramel slight nuttiness and very slight hops but little bitterness. My first Scottish ale and I was pleasantly surprised. The malt was not overpowering like I expected, but a fairly balanced beer that was slightly malt forward. Still not my favorite style, but I would have it again.

I really like this very similar to Newcastle IMO.

Very smooth, creamy and light with not a very bold flavor

Different! Very dark with slight but creamy head. Contradictorily to what the label says, I get a creamy taste with a fruity tartness and the aroma confirms that. This is a very complex beer. I can see why it's Belheaven's bet seller.

Mild but smooth

Easy enough to drink. Easy enough to decide to drink something else if it was offered though. A lil nutty, but it's smooth. Not much more to it other than that.

Best Scottish Ale I've ever had. Poured from can (2015). Very smooth and creamy head.
