Not the best winter ale I've had but solid nonetheless, which I expect from this brewery. Love the malty overtones with what seems like a pale ale.

Terrific malt profile, rock sugar sweetness offset by spicy yeast phenols and perfect carbonation levels.

Sweet for a winter lager not bad would actually want it cold to try again. Slight hoppy after taste.

Spicy citrus aroma, malty flavor with some spice and a weak hop presence. Smooth, not too bad.

This beer sits at the center of the fork in the road. It pours a typical, golden ale colour. While not at all overly sweet, with the Belgian-style tones balance evenly with American ale characteristics. Caramel taste and texture comes through nicely. Not hoppy; well balanced and well enjoyed. Would be a good beer for someone just being introduced to Belgian style beers.
