Very big "mouth feel" sort of like a heavy stout; sort of creamy malty.

A surprisingly hoppy black Ipa even for an IPA. I love it. Still smooth like a good IPA but super hoppy And boozy for purists

27AUG13, Apt 12oz, Schlafly tulip Pours a thick dark dark brown with a nice one finger tan head. Aroma is malty with some lemony hops. Flavor is smooth, a of molasses in the malt, with a tiny hint of lemon or grapefruit hops, leaving a distinct bitterness behind. Pretty good. The molasses is nice.

Nice stout chocolatey smell on the open, super dark, like black black. Great 2 finger head with nice lacing. Good toatsted malt. Almost a porter ipa blend, Belgian yeast on the finish, nice alcohol aroma
