Love this beer! Lots of complexity. Sweetness, malty, awesome. Definitely a sipper.
jjswizz - January 28, 2015
Heavy beer with a lot of alcohol.

Sweetness is unexpected, but helps offset the ABV. Great beer, would be better if aged at least a year.

I love this beer and since I only get it once a year in Texas, it makes it sweeter

My first high alcohol beer. A bit bitter.
Homer's Beer Odyssey - October 24, 2014
APPEARANCE - Dark brown. 1-finger head that dissipates. Some lacing
AROMA/SCENT - Mildly sweet.
TASTE - Super-sweet, sugary, a little boozy, smoky, peaty, much stronger than the smell.
MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Gooey, not much carbonation.
OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - A sipping beer. Do not try to drink this down fast.

Rich, full flavor dark, need to be in the mood for a dark
dkrenik - October 2, 2014
Clear, tawny hue with light, foamy, head. Caramel, fumey notes in the nose. Big malty palate with a hot (alcohol) finish. A nice exercise in excess.
Batch 12 Aug 2014.

Approaching heavy hitters like Samischlaus. Heavy. Sweet.
