Had this brew on Robbie Burns' day and my did it feel appropriate. It pours a very dark brown with a tan head. The nose holds hints of roasted malt, toffee, and some phenols. The roasted malts are the strongest flavor to go with wee hints of coffee and caramel. It's medium-full body glides over the tongue with a light carbonation and then it finishes with dry leaving a sweet aftertaste. Great beer all around and I'm so glad I picked up a bottle for this occasion.
