Trevor Vandela - February 10, 2018I kinda of enjoy this one. It is a good but not great porter. Good after taste. I could not decide between a 3.5 and a 4 Star. Would buy again.
the2thdoc - November 12, 2017Visually appealing with a scarlet almost purple hue when held in the light (I don?t think I have seen anything quite like it). It has a ?nitro-esque? head and minimal lacing. A nice crisp raisin/grape nose with a slight yeast note. Slightly tart like a subtle saison. Great mouth feel, close to a nitro beer. Creamy smooth. With just enough body to make it a ?more than one? beer. Chocolate is also subtle as is the alcohol presence. Nothing is overpowering in this beer which allows you to enjoy everything in it. A ?reasonable? finish which here again which keeps it from being so BIG you can?t enjoy another one!
