Dark brown color. Taste of bitter chocolate. Smooth. Not bad. I would have another.

Good taste. Nice smokiness to it. You can taste the chocolate flavor. More carbonation than I would like.

Kind of smells like olives. Not so good, but maybe it's because I just ate some chocolate. Very dark for a brown ale.

Extremely frothy head when poured. Cloudy rich brown in color. To me it was very hoppy on the front but caramel and nut flavored finished on the back end nicely. Hops stayed with me throughout.

Was somewhat surprised by how much I liked this. Pecan brown color with a huge head that never fully dissipated. Mild aroma of nuts and toast. Medium bodied mouthfeel with lightly hopped taste. Dry caramel and nutty tastes. I'd get this again.
