dlitolff - March 8, 2015Delicious black IPA. Frothy creamy head, great hop balance to the roasted malt. Soft mouthfeel. Very good. Bottle, March 2015.
RevPants - January 7, 2013Toasted malts with a subtle roasted texture blend seamlessly with the excellent head retention that allows for a quiet creaminess for evening. A mild sweetness blends with the fading malts to complement the herbal texture end note of the fuggle hops. Dark in color to the point of opaqueness shines through with deep reds in light. Body is initially moderate but becomes chewy when combined with head.
