Usually don't like lagers, but I enjoyed this tasted more like a porter however. I don't really like the 4% ABV either I won't go back for that reason.

Not what I expected for a black ale. Meh.

Cloudy root beer color. Tastes like a light stout. Flat with near watery feel.

Not too bad. A little weak.

Like it, especially for a lager. Would drink again

An exceptional American dark lager, using only organic barley and hops. With that said, this Utah brew does have that full flavor... but has the potential for a more robust taste. I guess being organic, it holds back that full flavor. Otherwise, it's more or less a watered down dark beer. 12/9/13

Thick hybrid of stout meets ale gore down easy Great for dark beginners, great for winter

Has good dark color and is best right out of the bottle COLD! Better than expected from a darker beer. Has a pleasant hoppy taste and after aroma.
