Homer's Beer Odyssey - December 3, 2014
APPEARANCE - Dark, opaque, 2-finger head that dissipates. Foamy. A little lacing.
AROMA/SCENT - Fruits, grass, sweet.
TASTE - Malts, yeast, sweet, nutty.
MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Thick, little carbonation, smooth, creamy, syrupy.
VALUE - $6.49 for 11.2 oz - good for an import.
OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - A likable dark beer. Not overly boozy. Goes down nice.

Rich in dark flavor yet still smooth and light for summer drinking

When you concentrate a beer you get concentrated alcohol, concentrated glamour, and concentrated happiness. This is a winner

Very interesting beer. Honestly I can't wait to have another. Awesome tip to the bartender for offering the suggestion. More like a winter warmer beer! I want more

The nose is sweet with a berry smell. The body is absolutely gorgeous with a light head and a thick, dark purple/burgundy color. The taste is full bodied and strongly alcoholic on the tongue. It's creamy and oaky with a whisky like aftertaste. I don't think I've ever had a beer like this: delicious, yet potent. I bought 2 bottles, but not sure that I'll be able to open the second after I finish this first one.

Pours a dark amber with a thin head. Smells like plums, molasses and yeast. Tastes molasses , bananas, fig, plumb witha slight burn. 5 stars are not enough for this

Very strong, bitter. Not a good brew.
