An exceptional German dark ale.. pine nutty taste, dark amber hue, pleasant sweet aroma, and a rich caramel boozy taste. 11/26/24

Malty flavor with very sweet finish. Not my favorite doppelbock. I like celebrator (ayinger) better

This is the brewery we loved in Salzburg. Maximator is a strong flavored dark beer with a prune aftertaste and carbonated mouth feel.

Smooth; not much carbonation. Lingering sweetness. Kind of plummy.

Wow! Germans know how to brew beer. This one since 1328, more than 400 years before we were a country. Perfect for any type of beer drinker. Not a daily drinker but I buy again.

Delicious. Lighter for the dark side. Medium body at most. Slight hay sweetness from the yeast. Caramel, figs light earth.
