It's not bad by any means...just not as good as I expected for a bourbon barrel aged porter. A little sweet to me.

Quality porter. Not too heavy. Good dinner beer.

Probably a little colder than advised. Thin tan head. Very faint aroma at first but stronger as glass is drunk. Solid and full porter taste at first that diminishes leaving a more unpleasant bitter aftertaste that had a bite- possibly due to temperature. Has a full yet not-too-thick presence in mouth that has some weight to it.
Not a bad beer at all and I would definitely like to try again at a more appropriate temperature

Let's respect the shaman and put the correct abv on brewgene which is on the bottle ...6.8%...nice smokey bourbon flavor with hints of chocolate. Nicely done.

Very nice smooth porter...slight hints of chocolate and bourbon! Nice on a cold night!

This is an excellent porter. A bit chocolatey and really smooth. I'm new to Atwater but this and Decadent are 2 of my favorite beers. Thanks Heidi for suggesting Atwater. Think they'll have it on the trip?

Very nice Porter! Not overpowered by wood or bourbon. Just slight hints of both. I like it that way, many times these types of beers are over the top IMHO.

Awesome! Hints of chocolate and bacon, not too sweet.

An okay porter, yet I would expect a bourbon barrel aged porter to have more bourbon flavor. The bourbon comes through with your first sip but it lacks warmth going down, and it fades quickly. It tastes dry and lacks complexity for something that's been aged.
I expected something more from this.
