Well I must say this is so far the worst bourbon barrel aged beer I've ever tasted. You can smell a little bourbon in the glass, but by the time you turn it up to drink it, it's not there. They spent more time and effort on the sarcastic introduction to this beer on the back of the bottle than what actually went Inside it. Maybe they think by insulting their customer base it intermediate them. Hoping they will either give a good review or say nothing at all about the Terrible beer. Here some good advice. Go buy a growler of Oskar blues Ten Fidy barrel aged stout.Have your head brewer or your smart ass marketing department drink some and try to copy it. This was my first product by Stone Brewery. I will try another, I'm thinking maybe I started at the bottom of the barrel, the whiskey barrel that is.

Very good, piney easy drinking, some vanilla

Prefer the barrel aged over the standard.

Slightly spiced and piney; vanilla undertones at back end; potent, dark and good

A flavor hidden within which I couldn't place my finger on..

This is a man's beer! Hell of a bite at the end and damn powerful!

A very solid beer, with a high amount of alcohol content. 3 of these puppies (also because of the 750 ml bottle) gets you fucked up!!
