A unique, tasty beer. Reminds me of Mardis Gras! Probably not a great session beer for me, but very nice.

Golden color with a small white head. hardly any aroma. A small fruitiness but that is all. Sweet fruity taste hits up front and then disappears and to a clean finish. Sweet cereal taste at start. Not very accurate version of a maibock.
Draft

Not bad but expected better. Sweet malt and a mild spicy hop profile, very mild astringency, and a ton of DMS. Med body with mild alcohol warmth.

Good mix with Turbo Dog half and half
Or mix 2/3 Andygator and 1/3 Doubledog

I'm a little oversensitive to fruit notes, and this is a little too much for me. Especially apple comes off as buttery to me and makes me feel a little sick... Personally it's a 2/5ish rating based on my expectations for a helles bock without having any other ones before... If you don't mind fruit notes, this may be a good one for you though.

Tastes like apple juice! Full bodied, fruity aftertaste, alcoholic aftertaste... Apple/detergent aroma.

Fruity, clean taste, alcoholic aftertaste, mild detergent aroma, full body
