Very solid porter. Somewhere more flavorful than English style porters and less than imperial style ones. Easy drinking porter.

Good dark beer.

Not particularly strong or even representative of a porter, just a nice beer with subtle flavours and dark colour. I do like the bottle. Pours well without gurgling and makes going down effortless if you drink it straight up. Would buy again but it's rare in my area.

Nice porter. Very traditional in style and taste, though nothing really special. Very 'average'.

Bouquet of rich fruits, dates, plums, and raisins, as well as some dark chocolate. Thick black coloring, almost opaque and reminiscent of root boor. Small, chocolatey head. The beer has a roasty, malty flavor. Tastes like roasted espresso beans and dark chocolate -- much more of a roasted bean and toasted grain taste than the rich, dark fruity aroma. Very smooth and creamy finish with almost no aftertaste. I'm not usually a fan of porters, but this is very good. Reminds me some very good oatmeal stouts I've had.
