Good bitter beer with a distinct grapefruit citrus flavor.

This is a beer that wants to antagonize me. I is not a fan of aggressively hopped beers and so this would have been automatically consigned to the bin. However, Amsterdam makes good fare so I know in me heart this is an excellent product. The deep maple sugar colour was a nice surprise, not something I'd normally expect from a hop-saturated beer as this. But the taste lingers. Blah. So I cut it with a bit of lime and huzzah! Drinkable! So now I like. Pass the lime please! Amendment: Caught without lime and I'm in hell. Blah.

Good flavour, very potent. Strong hops
