Pours the most beautiful shade of clear golden amber I've ever seen in a beer. Nice thick white head. An interesting almost boozy aroma that's hard to describe. It smells malty and bready almost like brewing wort. The flavor is similar but clean on the finish. Definitely a more malt forward beer typical of German styles with a small amount of bitterness. Tasty. Some warming alcohol notes on the finish as it warms up.
