Slightly bitter. (Not a sour). Can definitely taste the white wine barrel aging.

Rating the Lychee variant: tart dry nose, some fruit, not intense sour but tart enough with a decent complexity and taste evolution. Some dry hops earthiness

Had this with a Belgian beer flight and it really tasted average, nothing distinct about it amongst the Belgian heavy hitters. Too hoppy for a Belgian IMO.

Amber pour, pillowy head. Tart pears and champagne in the nose. Definitely tart on the palate and quite dry. Subtle fruit and clean finish make for an interesting, if not amazing brew.
