philcro - March 22, 2015Sampled at Vancouver Brewfest March 2015. Some hops, very powerful coffee. Above average beer. Good, but more like a stout rather than an IPA.

YoAdrian - March 16, 2013Nice crisp start with a pleasant aroma and very little head. The finish has a nice bitterness but overall a bit bland for this type of ale. Still, its very drinkable
svenllr - January 23, 2013Crisp and clean but with a mild bite, this IPA hints of something German. Yes, you can almost feel something Alt in this Black IPA. Alaskan has done well with this IPA. Not as pleasant as Hops of Wrath from Dust Bowl or as tasty as Dow's home brew Galaxy Pale Ale but it's not bad and I will buy it again.
