Strong is an understatement

Nice tasty sour. The tequila barrel gives it a smooth flavor

Sweet and molasses bark beer

A-. Good, but after track 8, a bit mild. Agave aroma, alcohol warming, on the sweet side with a surprisingly thin body.

Omg. Out of nowhere. Pow!! Flavor. And smells like tekillia

Sour?

Complex, sour, dark fruit, some alcohol heat and flavor maybe from the tequila barrel. Lots going on in this very good beer

This is a tough beer to judge...It's unlike every other beer I've had. It's sour, but not in a very pleasant geuze or lambic-like way. This "sour" borders on "rancid." There also seem to be too many disparate things going on at once, as the sour agave and tequila conflict starkly with the actual malty "beer background." It settles a bit as it warms, but still struggles to coalesce gracefully. Unique, to be sure, but perhaps not a true success.

Very different, tequila comes through subtley as it warms, really great dark Belgian flavors, figs/dates, vanilla, Lost Abbey really knows how to do a barrel aged beer

Very strong smell of barrel aged alcohol. I though it was bourbon but found out that it was tequila. I don't drink hard liquor so I couldn't tell. Very smooth for the high ABV.
