vishious - December 24, 2012Very smokey. Tastes of smoke and bacon. Very enjoyable for one beer but did start to lose its appeal in that one drink.
svenllr - November 26, 2012This smoke "Märzen" is true to its name and you can definitely taste the smoke flavor. In fact, the smoke is the most prominent flavor. Because of this, it can actually be distracting and gives no evidence of any Märzen in this beer as the bottle claims. The irony is that I had a Märzen after this beer and it did not taste as good as usual. In the end, this wasn't a bad beer but it wasn't a good one either. I'll be adding this one to the niche department.
