Schmutzie - February 27, 2013Pours very dark with touches of amber around the edges of the glass. Thin, light brown, head dissipates quickly but leaves decent lacing. Roasty aroma, with a slight hop background. Good tasting beer, but much closer to a porter than a Black IPA (or Cascadian Dark Ale). While it could use more bittering and aroma hops, this is a very enjoyable beer!
