Flying Fish has a winner with this Abbey Dubbel. The Belgian monks would enjoy!

Nice double good price

Descent, but a little too thin. Nice color with raisin undertones, but too thin aftertaste and mouthfeel for a dubbel. Not one of my favorites and so far Flying Fish has not put out anything I would consider really good or great.

Slightly spicy, smooth, dark fruit undertones, beautiful dark copper color

Season 4, round 5, ok taste, not my favorite

Mild nutty flavor . Not much of a nose. A little smokiness to the after taste.

Light raisin aroma followed by a malty raisin/dark fruit flavor. Dark fruit aftertaste. Not bad.

Wow at first thought it was lacking taste but soon realized it was a totally drinkable light and refreshing dubbel. Be careful the 7.2 hits you quick! Cheers!

Poor mans chimay. Very good and smooth. Apparently it's combined with a brown ale. Light notes of raisins and fermented fruit come through.
