Sweet, malty, spiced on the back, whiskey like aftertaste and warmth. Delicious, almost dessert beer.

Vanilla, cocoa. A bit of an alcohol burn. Overall a delicious barley wine that doesn't taste syrupy.

Unbelievably good. If you like barrel aged ales, this is your beer. bourbon lingers on the pallet as the barley wine flavor fades. Extremely impressive and worth the high price. Treat yourself one if you are lucky enough to find this somewhere.
