This is the 5th beer in the Twelve Beers of Christmas series, a Belgian style golden ale brewed with pineapple and spices, coming in at 11.5% abv. Orange in color with a slight white head that quickly becomes a thin film on top of the beer. Aromas of sweet tropical fruits like pineapple and mango. Surprisingly light in body given the 11.5% abv. Sweet forward followed by a complex combination of pineapple and spices like clove and cardamom. Nice spice finish I liked this one a lot.
Bought in 2011, aged 4 years drank 3/5/16.

Excellent! Love the hint of pineapple. BPA that very much tastes like a Saison. Light for being 11.5% ABV.

Had a 4 month old bottle. Pours golden with very little head. Sweet fruits on the nose like pineapple and mango. Good carbonation. Sweet beer. Don't taste the 11.5%. Getting a little bit of the spice notes at the end of the drink. Not bad but not overly impressive.

Turbid golden orange body w/ white head & lacing. Nose of pineapple, bubblegum & spices. Flavors follow those aromas w/ citrus tanginess. Hides high ABV well.
