No spiciness or hoppiness to this brew. Not much of an IPA at all.

Typical IPA cloudy pale gold with a solid white head. Aroma has a distinct grapefruit bittersweetness, cutting through the usual flowery hop. Taste is just as bitter, but with more hits of tobacco and toast than anything sweet or citrus. Very odd, more basic pale ale flavor than IPA. Not a favorite.
