Really really good double IPA...a little stronger and darker that usual Stone DIPAs. 4.75 stars.

A nice full-flavored IPA. Nothing overly special, but very good.

Maybe not as hoppy as it claims to be but this beer is really special. Amazing flavor profile. Very complex. There's so much going on in this beer each sip is better than the next.

Dark caramel color, almost like a red ale. Hoppy, strong earthy nose. Taste is Earthy and malty at the same time which is different.

The hoppiest golden-brown ipa on earth? Coulda fooled me. Huge disappointment

Misses the mark for me. At a certain point, when you start making too many beers, the outcome is bound to suffer. Don't get me wrong, the quality is good. It's a beer made with care and that shows. I think its the concept that kind of wasn't necessary. It is as hoppy IPA as claimed, and there is a definite brown taste to it, but the two don't really meet in a harmonious way.

Different but good. Caramel color and caramel sweetness. Earthy hop taste from the El Dorado hops. Bottle, September 2014.
