This is the 18th anniversary. Great head. Aroma: malty and hoppy with a slice of that oak age. Dark copper in color. Actually a very nice balance of hops and malt with that oak aged-ness. Mouthfeel: med body little slick on the tongue, not bitter or astringent. Good oak aged double IPA.

Not nearly as hoppy as I would have expected a double IPA to be. Mid tones similar to a brown ale. Definitely get a "woody" finish.

Kinda dark, tastes like it was aged in bourbon barrel. Delicious.

Not normally a double IPA fan, but this one is very, very, very good.
