A real winner. The beers category description and added flavors sound intriguing and its a complete success, though wit is misleading. Not yeasty or wheat like. More caramel, raisin, apple, spices. Mouthfeel is fizzy and medium body. The dark color declares itself strong and the taste follows through. Similar to an abbey ale or quad. Reminds, I think, of Ommegangs Three Philosophers. The Bruery is one of the best brewers in the country. They can do no wrong!!

Love it. Fantastic. Dark Imperial Wit = delicious. 10 different spices: coriander, orange peel, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, mace, anise, dried apples and cloves.
