A smooth, easy red. A bit malty, kinda like Amberbock.

Stopped in Schulenburg Texas on a cross country trip during COVID 2020. Stopped in Arlan?s market for some ?Texas ? beer to have while watching my Alabama Crimson Tide demolish LSU. While watching the game I did my research and discovered this.. an In-Bev pseudo craft beer. Well it?s very drinkable, lightly malted and good with food. Like others it reminds me of how I remember Michelob Amber Bock..I even suspected that it?s the same recipe...except the ABV is less. If as some suggest they produced it to compete with Shiner Bock, a true Texas beer. Well it ain?t a Shiner! But if Shiner is not available and this is in a restaurant, I?ll have this.

Dark beer. Looks like coke in a glass. Very smooth. Light tasting, no bitter after taste

An exceptional Amber lager, lighter characteristic than other Amber brews I've had. Otherwise a refreshing beer to be enjoyed with burgers and steaks. Had this at Roadhouse in Bastrop, TX. Cheers from sunny SoCal USA 5/21/16

Must be German or Czech for "drinkable, but barely so". Gets two stars cos I drank it for free.
