A fantastic winter ale! The perfect beer for winter time. Lovely deep-brown colour gets you in the mood for a comfort brew, then the smell of cinnamon hits your nose--then your taste buds as you take your first sip. Very full-bodied, latent with a complex melange of spices. Slightly sticky mouthfeel, but not in a cheap-beer way. Pine galore. Would go great with a venison burger in a ski lodge by the fire place after a full day of deep-powder boarding. Even if you're in SoCal (ahem) it goes down well.
