Pours a nice cloudy gold with a generous white head. It has some really surprising and tasty floral and citrus aromas. Cold, it starts off tasting surprisingly like a normal German style Pilsner but a little bit heavier in the mouthfeel although it's balanced by the carbonation nicely. For an imperial it's not very hoppy really and the alcohol is masked pretty well. As it warms up it starts to feel a lot heavier, sweeter and boozier. Overall a really good Pilsner. I've never had any other imperial pilsners before so I don't have much of a frame of reference for the style but I enjoyed it a lot. It's the only imperial anything I've ever had that wasn't obnoxiously hoppy so that's always a plus for me.

Brilliant brassy hue with foamy/lacy head that lingers. Lemon/citrusy aromas with some floral notes. Medium bodied with appropriate carbonation. Focused on hops with little malt character on palate. Great example of Pilsner.
