Fell short of what I was expecting from Rogue. Still good but there are better.

Moderate citrus hop aroma. Flavor is more balanced than most but alcohol is noticeable.

Opaque copper color with off-white head and excellent lacing. Bread and floral aromas. Balances nicely between biscuity malt flavors and piney hop notes. Big flavorful Imperial IPA.

21JUN13, Jamestown Apt 25oz, pint Pours a slightly hazy golden copper with a full 1 finger white head that dissipates to a thick film. Thick grass on the nose with sine mild citrus. Can smell the bitterness. Initial taste is a nice citrus-grassy hop balance, quickly overtaken by a full hop bitterness. Finishes very dr y and has a light mouthfeel. This is a big one to drink, but you can't really taste the high abv. Definitely started off too cold. There's a mild spiciness in the malt nose that comes out and is really nice. The grassy hop sweetness also comes forward, balancing really well with the bitterness.

A bit pricey compared to other DIPA's out there. Grassy nose. Nice hop bitterness. Solid malt backbone adds some sweetness. High ABV is not terribly noticeable. This is a really good brew. The cost will keep me from buying it very often as others of the same or better quality are cheaper.

A delicious high apv % with a very smooth but hopy finish that hides the booziness
