bockboy@att.net - June 11, 2020B+. For The Holidays and New Year version tasted different than this one. This seems thinner with fewer peppers and chocolate. This was canned in October of 2018 and I?m trying it June of 2020. The warmer it gets, the better it is.
FabAru - December 2, 2018Cant say I wasnt warned. Tastes as labeled. Too heavy on the nutmeg for me and, to a lesser extent, the cinnamon. Would have liked more vanilla and pasilla peppers instead. Also would have liked more stout. This is pretty thin and porter like. And Stone knows how to do stout. Some coffee and chocolate too. Sit by a warm fire, maybe apres skiing or apres sledding with this one. Thought Id try the beer because Stone is one of those breweries that does nearly everything well. But I wont get it again.
