More hoppy than a typical pilsner but the hops aren't overpowering. Good hop flavor

Really unique hops flavor, complex and deep, without overpowering

Pils are not my favorite, but this was quite a nice beer. Not overly hoppy. Very well balanced.

Kind of reminds me of the Victory Hop Devil... 3 stars for both because they were very good, but nothing extremely special about the taste

***as of 2015 now called summer pils***
Golden clear in color with effervescent bubbles and 1 finger of frothy white slowly dissipating head. Citrusy hop aromas. Clean crisp refreshing with a slight bitter hop finish. A bitter twist on a pilsener and very sessionable.
Now in 2015 called summer pils. Very similar but the hop twist is a little more muted and it has more of that pilsener aroma. Liked the wild hop better. Not bad but not as special.

Part of the 125 years series. Quite bitter compared to most Pils. Hence 2 stars. A
