Lots of hops, a bit bitter on the finish.
10/29/14...I smell the malts more that the hops. Pretty mild on the hops, solid malt base, extremely easy to drink. Hops hit you on the finish with a nice bitterness and a bit of tongue numbing. Bottle.

Really nice hoppy double ipa. Really balance and you could really taste the hops

Looking forward to this one. Off the nose smells great some pine and citrus . First sip was ok nothing great a little let down being a double IPA ..:( A lingering bitter after note that well for me did not like.. I prefer the Normal IPA they have..

Medium light generic citrus-pine hop nose, not as distinct as the green flash imperial ipa, but not bad. Medium bodied, with interesting tropical fruit flavor and a somewhat coarse, alcohol heavy finish. If I didn't know better I would say it was higher abv and Ibu than their imperial ipa, an all time favorite of mine, which I think has overall better balance and especially aroma. Not bad, but I was hoping for a new favorite.

This is the new recipe (updated as of 2014) of the West Coast IPA by Green Flash Brewery.
