rajr76@verizon.net - August 11, 2014It's a sour beer. Difficult to taste the wheat beer weizen, the sour really comes out first and then hangs around for a while. After a couple of sips the sour fades a little to the background and you get a little more of the wheat beer flavor but this is first and foremost a sour beer.
BernieMGuy - January 26, 2014WOW! That was my first expression upon trying this wheat beer. Made in a traditional German Hefeweizen style with sour cultures and yeast esters of banana and nutmeg and others it has a unique and sharp sour taste that lasts through each sip. With a nice golden color and fragrant nose it's good but not for everyday. CHEERS!!
