jkidd - November 10, 2013Sickly sweet maple molasses bacon nose - not particularly pleasant. Tastes like they dumped liquid smoke into the mash. Pretty terrible overall - couldn't finish it.
TwymanGreen - July 5, 2013I'm glad I tried it. I enjoyed the novelty but, given a choice between this and a Voodoo donut, I'll go for the donut every time.

motherschlepper - June 11, 2013Whole Foods, Boca Raton, FL. I bought this beer because I love the bottle and the brewer -- it's painted pink with a skeleton and more. I love that it's painted and not a plastic label. I also loved that it was so creative - bacon and maple. Different. Than I opened it. Very sweet smell like a breakfast of pancakes with maple syrup and a side of bacon. Strange. And then the taste - like chemicals. It literally burned the back of my throat. I couldn't finish my glass. But I'll keep the bottle!! Bottle - 10. Smell - 2. Taste - 0. Good try Rogue, one of my favorite brewers.
