Floral, with great grapefruit aroma. Not as bitter as some IPAs

Very hoppy and bitter, citrus rind-like. A little more golden/yellow than most IPAs. Very sweet

Pours golden yellow from the bottle into a Dogfish Head IPA glass. No head, some lacing, but fairly vigorous carbonation. Smell: pineapple, perhaps some "cattiness." Taste: starts with a pineapple tang, then moves into a mango/light citrus middle, and has a long, dry, bitter finish. The mouthfeel is very light. Overall: I was a bit underwhelmed by this beer. I'm pretty sure I've had it on tap before and it was much better last time. The flavor is not all that pronounced, and I'm turned off by that distinctive catty note that some IPAs are coming out with these days. I also think this needs a little more malt sweetness to accentuate the fruity hop flavors. This beer is so dry and is *trying* to be so hop forward that it sacrifices what could be better flavor with just a hinting of a sweet malt backbone and fuller mouthfeel.

moderately hopped, with floral and piney nose, citrus tones and a medium malt body, very drinkable, A good "light" imperial IPA; 3 stars

Not what I was expecting. Need to drink a couple more and will probably change my rating. Different than most other dipas out there

Tasting it a second time around and it doesn't taste the same as I remember . Now it comes off as almost a Chardonnay wine .

Grape from the mosaic hops, melon/citrus from the azacca hops, great body, lighter and crisp for an imperial, so drinkable, Victory is really changing things up for the better lately
