A high quality beer from the sheep boys, though it also aint cheap so it damn well better be good. And it is. Its also a strong entry into the barreled quad genre. Doesnt have as much ping as a few others in this class, but still has a lot of character. Fig and molasses predominate, which is not surprising since they actually added those elements to the beer. The molasses is slightly too strong. Quite sweet, with a touch of soy sauce. 12 oz is a little too much. Great mouthfeel with the full body and more carbonation than most quads. A lot of booze with this one at 13.2%. Shotgun one and you arent legal to drive. But you will be very happy. 2018 iteration is 10% abv. 2021 is 12% and could use more only to bring the sweetness down a touch, but great beer and excellent for those tired of BBSs.
