1 year old. Thick frothy white head with moderate retention and negligible lacing. Aromas of figs and fermenting pears and sweaty earthy yeast up front, with faint oak wood notes only later. Slightly boozy aroma and hint of boozy taste. Plums prunes and dark fruit flavours with hints of sweet brown sugar and molasses. Medium bodied and fully carbonated with a strongly drying yeasty-hoppy finish. Good. Better warmer and would love to see how age mellows it - which I will do with my cellared bottle.

So good that my wife actually liked it!!!...after 5 years of knowing her this is the only beer she will drink, so,
If u know women this lets you know HOW DAMN good it is !!

Smells and tastes like dark fruits and Belgian yeast. Warming booze in the taste and the smell. As it got warmer I got a very nice sweet cherry flavor. Definitely better than the Trois Pistoles.
