jameson.alford@gmail.com - July 26, 2016Dark gold in color with a pale tan head. Plenty of piney hops in the nose, with some resinous qualities. Not as much hops in the mouth, with good bitterness. Not nearly as aggressive as the nose would have you believe. Good astringency in the finish. Leaves you wanting more. Definitely a hop-forward beer, but not so gnarly as many over-hopped beers are. There isn't much in the way of malts to balance it out, however the hops are tame enough that it isn't noticeably lacking.
