Rich and full of body
Very reminiscent of a October fest beer, maltiness shines through

I don't really like bocks, but that's not the beer's fault. It is what it is, and I found this particular doppelbock to be pretty tolerable. Carmel and a hint of spice. Bought at Troegs brewery December 2016.

Chestnut brown, very little head that dissipates quickly. Light carbonation, chewy, heavy mouthfeel. Sweet toasty malt flavor. Prevalent notes of toffee, and coffee. Not bitter like other doppelbocks. Very sweet and smooth. Great

1/2" yeasty head on pour lingers.
Dark to medium brown color. Caramel flavor with spice/sweet aftertaste. Little too boozy.

Yeasty nose, like a lager. Very flavorful with a nice malty sweetness throughout. This is my first bock, have to try more....
