Very nice. Big and bold without being heavy. Certainly not something to be enjoyed frequently, but a nice find none the less.

Extremely smooth strong Belgian Ale. Cannot taste the 12% alcohol. Great when first opened and gets better as it sits a while. As a friend said "a lot going on" with this beer -- and all of it good!!!! Very light pleasant first taste in tongue. Seems Carmel citrus or fruit but hard to pin down. The Conac aging is always present but more pronounced with warming to room temperature. We did a side by side taste test with my all time favorite beer -- Westy 12 , and I must admit the Trigac XII may have surpassed it in my list!!!! And I thought that would never happen! Only wish is I could find a few more of the $45 bottles!! What a treat for a limited specialty beer. If Belgian Ales are your thing, you should live this beer-- Happy Hunting
