Great Scotish Ale. Smooth dark brown with right amount of spice.

Clear, dark, mahogany with thick, creamy, head. Effusive nose with notes of malt and sweet spices. Medium-light bodied with soft carbonation. Malt dominates the palate with hints of smoke.
Interesting.

Malty and smooth, very good scotch ale

Wonderful beer. Pours dark cloudy brown with no head. Smells of dark fruit, oak and tobacco. Tastes lightly of dark fruit (plum maybe), oak, peppery spice with a sweet floral back note and a light pipe tobacco. A bit watery but a nice spicy bite and great tiny carbonation bubbles make it feel alive. Great beer! 16.9 oz bottle from Beertopia, Omaha, Nebraska, $6.99.

Terrific aroma of rich dark fruits, bananas, and light spices. It has a dark, opaque, coffee-like hue with very little head. It has a complex and balanced flavor. Very sweet but not sickly sweet. Again there are flavors of dark fruits like plums and cherries and a with a subtle wave of spice on the finish. This is a terrific brew worth the spice.
