Beautiful gold clear color. Pleasant hop aroma. Rich multi-backbone with great Noble hops bitterness flavor and aroma.

This bock is delicious. Subtle malt and toasty taste, and very smooth. My father in law, a Texas local, enjoys a shiner bock. Well I've converted him to this much better bock.

Aroma: Crisp and grainy. Like cool, crusty bread. Appearance: Light honey gold and very clear. Pours with a thick, long lasting, white head. Taste: The mouthfeel is the first thing you notice. Think a rich. It carries a strong malt back. Cloyingly sweet a fruity, like a thick syrup cocktail. The hops are very in the background, balancing with an earthy edge. Overall: Not a true winner. The mr background is absolutely there for the style, but a little too much so. The sweetness kind if slaps you in the face and does not feel tempered in the least. An effect that is only magnified by the thick mouthfeel. The best feature of the beer is the deep and bready aroma.
