Was really hoping it would taste like what I had in Bavaria. Sorry to say it did not. Too much sweet and too much banana/clove. Not smooth enough.

Fruitiness - Banana. Very smooth. The spice of clove is quite palatable. Excellent with or without an orange slice.

Banana and cloves are prevalent. Lighter flavor. Would be good on a hot day. Hefs are growing on me in general

Had high hopes for this one. Aroma is ok. Started out nice bit became really bitey at the end. Not a very good Hefe

Run of the mill Bavarian Hef. I wish I were more impressed, but it lacked a zing that you find in other hefs. As much as I bitch about over-cloved hefs, I found myself longing for clove in this brew. The one thing that makes it different is the claim of bubble gum hints. That came through more clearly than I have experienced with other hefs. Aftertaste is more banana than the body, which was odd because I am used clove aftertaste. Still, cheaper and more easily available than better brews. Bottle.

Not a bad hefeweizen, especially one made in the US. A little bit of that banana flavor. It is a little bitter in the aftertaste.
